How can you not love St. Louis and the generally scary Midwestern United States. Russ and Yoni (our two favorite Exedy employee’s) came out for the weekend and we wound up at the creepiest BBQ place you could ever imagine on Saturday night. It was all good though because Andy Sapp rolled into Sunday’s tandem battles on a mission! Thanks to Chuck and Susan of course for the place to stay even though Susan is like 11 months pregnant! Thanks to Buster for being the most awesome Slide America mascot ever as well.

After battling the WhipLash truck in the top 16 he advanced into the top 8. During this time the track became soaking wet as he was able to take down Daniel Willie in the Maxxis Tires Nissan 240sx and move into the top 4. Kenji Yamanaka was ripping it up in the JIC/ Hankook 240sx and Andy was just not able to shake him! After that, Andy Sapp battled his Gran Turismo East partner Erin Sanford and took home the third place finish!!!!!
