Sunday, September 10th, 2006Well Slide America swung into New Jersey for some pro drifting action and catch up with everyone. Here is some stuff that went down.
ALSO, make sure you go check out the Slide America store
that just put up stickers for sale at $1!!!!!!!!!!! How can you go wrong with 2 stickers for $1! Your only giving up one Jr. Cheeseburger.
The Slide America parking lot pre game party.

The man, the easter basket, the legend…..Andrew Hatley.

The Drift Alliance booth was rocking the hardest back on the east coast.

Bill Sherman ripped it up on the wall all weekend! He fell in the top 16 round to Vaughn Gittin in the Falken Tire Mustang.

One of the best battles from the weekend was Tyler Mcquarrie in the RSR Honda s2000 and Rob Fleming in the Enjuku Racing Nissan 240sx! They ripped it up twice and got called for a one more time. Tyler eventually was granted the victory.

The AEM Honda s2000 managed to get it’s rear bumper stuck inside the guardrail after an aggressive qualifying run that sucked it into the wall.

Hiro made the podium!!!!!!!!!!! After a tough year that started with a new car and then was pulled back by the title sponsor, Hiro nails redemption and brings home a taste of victory for Falken Tires.

Sam Hubinette scored another victory for Mopar/BF Goodrich. Since Rhys Millen broke in the first round of the Top 16, Sam took over the points lead and looks to be well on the way to a 2006 Championship.
