It feels like forever since Formula D Irwindale 2006 so it was nice to see some proper Drifting getting thrown down. The streets of Long Beach is actually part of the CART racetrack that they were kind enough to loan to Formula D. Last year was the first Streets of Long Beach and it was the best event of the season! What a way to open the Formula D season. Mitsuru Haraguchi in the Falken 240sx was ready to throw down big time. Mitsuru Haraguchi and Chris Forsberg in the Maxxis 350z threw down big time. It was the most memorable runs I have ever seen in Formula D history. We rolled out the Slide America booth and Lance Feliciano brought us the Dori Garage 240sx! Big thanks to everyone who swung by the booth.

I really should pull some awesome April Fool’s joke and tell you that we are only making a French dub of this film but I won’t, I have been working on my good behavior for 2007 (haha yea right)! Today we signed a band that is pretty local to us, they are out of Albany, Georgia, which is about three hours south of Atlanta in the MIDDLE of no where! What can you do though right, my friend Stephanie introduced me these guys and we liked their music so we brought them on board. They will actually be playing the music for the closing credits. The name of the song will be Common Ground off the self titled album.
